Mining Finds

Scored these beauties hunting in the Mtns around old mining claims. The button looking item is actually off a meat saw or logging saw. Most likely brass. The nozzle was used after they pressure washed the Mtn to clean the cracks and crevices in the rocks that were exposed.

I searched Google and found a saw with the emblem on EBay: NOS Vtg Disston D-23 Hand Saw w/ Box ~ 26" 5 1/2 tpi ~ old antique tool rip...

Nice research vpnavy. It was suggested a hand saw as well. Meat saw was suggested as it was within a hundred yards of a hunting camp, logging because of the area. Could be the carpenter was building there. We did not find any nails or other items to suggest a cabin

I searched for all kind of Kutters but only found the newer emblem on "meat cutters." Now, I "assume" they are newer since they include a different logo and copyright info. Eitherway - coooooooooooooool find!

Man I have many Kutter tools, never seen one of those coins. Combine that with the nozzle and you have two really cool historical finds.

I know I will likely be the only one to do so, but I am voting banner.
