Hi Sniffer--

I live in West Central Minnesota and have found numerous pieces of pipestone, but
I've never come across an arrowhead made from it. Not doubting you, but could you
do a close-up pic of just the arrowhead made of pipestone.

Nice...I have never seen one out of pipestone, and very few from Minnesota...and i live here.
 

I picked these up about 20 years ago along the Des Moines river
 

I agree with Matt, Jasper. Thought I recognised it, I have quite a few Jasper points..

south of Shetek, down by the fort in Jackson.

it could be Jasper, I'm not an expert on arrowheads. I assumed pipestone because of the location and availability of the stone
