GOLD AND TREASURE​

Prospect for gold and hunt for lost or buried treasure​

JUNE 15 at Mantorville Park
*12 miles west of Rochester*​

The Minnesota Gold Prospectors Kasson Club along with the Zumbro Valley Treasure Hunters Rochester Club will hold a day of fun and learning.​

Pan for Gold along the river and hunt for treasure with a metal detector in the “Pirate Plunder Patch”.​

​

All ages welcome, bring your personal detector, digging tools and gold pans if you have any or use ours.​

​

There will be a speed panning contest with prizes for top two finishers in each category. If 5 or more sign up for an “open category” with a $5 entry fee and a cash payback for top two finishers we will hold that event.​

​

FOOD, FUN, and INFORMATION about how to use metal detectors, dig targets, collect rocks and find gold. We invite all 4-H, Boy and Girl Scouts, and all other youth groups to participate. ​

Panning and Detecting equipment may be available for sale, trade or swap from some of the attendees. ​

No flea market or garage sale items please.​
