Minnesota trade coin found near missisippi river. Is it rare, real, or valuable? What was it used for? Thanks

It is small, not heavy, probly not magnetic, probly old, has a bend in it. Says "good for 2 1/2 c in trade" other side says "3" . Minnesota find from summer 2020
