Minting Error?

I found a 1979 Canadian quarter in my change today that does not have a reeded edge. It doesn't look like that it was ground off so I am thinking a minting error...any value? Thanks.

it probally is normal wear and tear. but a pic. would help

I went camping this past week and left my camera at the campground...I shoudl have it back this week and will post a pic. I doubt however that it is normal wear...these nickel quarters are very wear resistant and it is completely and uniformly unreeded. As soon as I get my cam back I'll post a pic or five!
