They are limited as to the amount of water they can let into the Wabash river due to flooding on the Wabash. I'm almost hoping for a little drought so as to be able to go there. Last summertime water levels were over 14ft above the beach level. Any way if you do hear anything please keep me posted. It would fun to meet a fellow detectorist there, plus I'm sure you could give me some pointers seeing you're a charter member and also use the Excal.

Surg, how you doing with that Excal? I'm fighting a long illness, but have managed a couple gold. Wish I were as close as you to them Michigan beaches. Good luck. Kevin

Hey Kevin,
I only just saw your post sorry.
Any way my season is much better than last year. I've found 1 14k ring though small, 1 14k italian gold cross, 3 sterling rings and 9 junk rings, and $22 plus in clad.

Lake Michigan has been crap for me this year. All my finds have been in Michigan and Indiana small lakes.
