Does bleach work well for removing oxidation from silver coins?
I would love to know the answer to this question as well.

Thanks! I was hoping there was something to take that heavy tarnish off. Hard stuff like silver that has been sitting in water for years.
I do get the odd silver with a rust stain on it, so now I know to try bleach.

Robert.Nice cut half Colin, without trauling through my Seaby's what is it (looks Norman /late Saxon). Send it down to me I will clean it using electrolysis (best way by far on good quality silver coins only) lemon juice is only good on pancakes.
