I had this one hole, ya see....
The pinpointer kept indicating a target but there was this big rock in the way.
I kept rolling this thing back and forth until I finally pried it out.
Understand that it was completely covered in dirt. Looked like a big rock.
Here's my "rock" again, just a little more cleaned up.
This huge thing is solid brass!! LOL
Did manage a neat general purpose button:
I believe it says "WATERBURY BUTTON CO, WATERBURY CT." on the back.

). I carved the date in it, and put it in my garden as a stone for my cat memorial garden (which grew catnip lol). When I moved this June I brought it to my new house, and have it sitting in my front yard. The date carved in it means more now, as this trash pit was my first exposure to relic hunting, great fun with my dad, and was one of my favorite things from my old house. Sorry for my off-topic rambling lol!
