January? Subzero temps recently? Snow? Ice? Winter? And I could still get out and even find!?

I'll take it!

I started at the mansion. Stopped by a playground. And finally checked a coin machine on the way home.

All in all, a pretty satisfying day.

That spigot was under a very large tree root! Been in the ground a long, long time!! Also, about 2 whole pounds of SOLID brass!!

General use eagle button.
And that "slug" of a coin with it? Is a nickel! I *think* 1941! MAN!! That ground is extremely tough on nickel!! :dontknow:

Four strange coins from the coin machine.

Especially these two! :)

Not a lot but I'm not complaining! I got some exercise and...my "FIX"!!!

Stay warm folks!

Thanks for peeking!

Nice assortment of finds WhadIFind. Thanks for sharing...

Nice finds! Congrats! :icon_thumleft: Nice steel penny!

Nice finds Whadi. I like that spigot, and the military General Service button.

Is the white thing just below the spigot a bullet with a gun tool snapped off in it? It also kinda looks like the end of an 1853 Enfield ramrod. Cool finds

Like you , I see that Brass fixture & if it's not usable think "Cha-Ching" $$$$$

You had a pretty good hunt , How much for that 'rare' plastic cent , the mint only let a few of them get through. ???

Actually, you'd probably know better than I would. This place I go to could easily cover that age and more. I thought first it was just some sort of lead fixture on an electric fence. Definitely is lead, with a bit of iron sticking out of it but I have no clue what it is actually. I did find a couple parts of a Colt eagle powder flask near to this spot once. Its posted here but a long time ago.

If its an Enfield, I'd have to say this is a first for me.

Thanks!

Great finds in tough conditions. To make you feel better, I’m posting this picture where Ive been hunting. Didn’t score as well as you, but feeling good in the warm weather. 80’ +. Kona, Hawaii.

Why thank you, Kona! But...I prefer to find...rather than be warm.
