January? Subzero temps recently? Snow? Ice? Winter? And I could still get out and even find!?

I'll take it!

I started at the mansion. Stopped by a playground. And finally checked a coin machine on the way home.

All in all, a pretty satisfying day.

That spigot was under a very large tree root! Been in the ground a long, long time!! Also, about 2 whole pounds of SOLID brass!!

General use eagle button.
And that "slug" of a coin with it? Is a nickel! I *think* 1941! MAN!! That ground is extremely tough on nickel!! :dontknow:

Four strange coins from the coin machine.

Especially these two! :)

Not a lot but I'm not complaining! I got some exercise and...my "FIX"!!!

Stay warm folks!

Thanks for peeking!

Like you , I see that Brass fixture & if it's not usable think "Cha-Ching" $$$$$

You had a pretty good hunt , How much for that 'rare' plastic cent , the mint only let a few of them get through. ???

About the brass, yep! I've made a special effort in holding onto the rather larger hunks of scrap brass as I hunt. It *do* add up in a year! :treasurechest:

Have your fingers & toes thawed out yet?
You are braver than most!

Glad you plodding thru the winter obstacles and finding goodies still.

Looks like all are happy to have a little shiny something to warm their hearts.
Its nice to get a mix of everything.
Those sure are some shiny zincs.

Hefty chunk of brass!
