MO Flint Folsoms

These are 3 Folsoms and a Clovis I made from SW MO flint. The red one is Pierson flint and the other 3 are Reeds Spring. Folsom points are one of the most difficult points to make. To get a full length flute, the preform has to be absolutely perfect. That’s a feat in itself. I made these yrs ago and I’m out of practice now. I’m glad I kept them.

Awesome knapping!! Tried making a few in the past and every time when attempting the fluting totally failed breaking them in half
