I have a friend who has a sweet collection of this stuff (most of his figures are gold). Also got a drum head signed by all of the members of Aerosmith lol.

Thanks y'all. My ultimate goal is to have a room dedicated to all of the ancient cultures of the world. So far I have Native America, Rome, Greece, Pre-Columbia, Egyptian. I'm sort of aiming for a 'mini-natural history museum'.

Great Job Gunner!! The Egyptian Alabaster figure is really nice. I spent 1 1/2 years in Egypt and Alabater was used quite a bit. In the tombs, they had personal possesions with them an a lot of items were made of Alabaster. Outstanding. Art...

Thank you all for the nice compliments. I am going to take the alabaster figure to a museum for further authentication. The figure is Ptolemaic so it is going to look different than most of the early Egyptian pieces (more crude).

See my new thread on PRE COLUMBIAN GOLD!!! I just acquired 3 awesome little pieces!!!!! =)
