🔎 UNIDENTIFIED Model or year of this hubcap

Found old Buick hubcap. What model is it from? Next to average sized chocolate chip cookie.

I don't know which model, but eBay says vintage 1920's for the year.

It's 1912 to 1928 Buick grease cap/nut, it's what covers the nut that secures the wheel to the hub, hard to say what model because the grease caps were all the same for that period, 1911 was the same only brass instead of chrome

Here's photo of a 1912 Buick, the next photo is a 1928 Buick.

You didn't have to remove the grease cap to change a tire, if you look where the rubber/rim meets the wheel/spokes you can see 6 lug nuts, remove those and remove the rim/tire from the wheel and install the spare if you had one, if no spare you removed the tire from the rim, patched or replace the inner tube, reinstall tube/tire on rim, pump up the tire and reinstall on the car, very simple.
