Moderators: WHY is it that there is no way to delete your posts anymore?

You can delete any post you make but the original post of a thread... We do not want posters to go in and delete a post that already have a bunch of replies...

Way software is written once thread is posted only admins and mods can delete, you can edit opening post but not delete it...

You could just edit your post and empty it.
