I guess that's the difference between me and you.........I wouldn't have bothered to tote that junk out of the woods. Stupid lead bullets, and brass buckles. Aluminium is the only thing I waste the energy carrying out. That and the ocassional shotfun shell, but hey, plastic is light, too.

Actually, I think I agree with the Captain. You should go overseas and entertain the troops. He and I will 'watch' your sites for you............

Well i found a old foundation in the woods back of my house that does have all kinds of modern trash. But it is from the 1800 era so i am going to rent a small dozer and clean it up and see what i can find...........................................

Awesome finds-- I almost passed this thread up based on the title but I'm glad I took a look!! (you should change it to get more views-- the CS buckle is worth it!!) Anyway, I was wondering: what is the long black thing on the right hand side of your first photo?

The black thing is a butt plate off a rifle. Hope to be posting some more modern trash soon, been finding a lot since this post.
