I'll be staying in Mokelumne Hill soon, anyone know of any good spots for detecting or gold panning?

Any where along the Cosumes River, Stanislaus River you are right in the Gold Belt so you have lots of options where to go I like up around River Pines seems to be less crowded

Just keeps look out for claim markers. There's a bunch of claims in northern amador/southern El Dorado counties. And look out for meth labs. And weed grows. The People be crazy in dem hills.
