I managed to get away from my homestead to join Repo Archeologist at a permission on a small farm.
The farm is bordered by railroad tracks which explains why we both found flattened pennies.
My best find of the day was a B & O Railroad lock. (Baltimore & Ohio Railroad.) The B &O R. R. is featured as one of the four railroads on The Monopoly Boardgame.
The lock was made by Fraim Slaymaker Hardware Co. (1921 - 1930)
