[OBN]

coming from you OBN that means alot.yup...modern...BUT...it is what we all are looking for in a way.have always enjoyed your posts !!!!

Thanks Bigfoot.............And Really So true for me, I care very little about relics, old coins..etc.. unless they are Gold or Plat. Finding a Big Platinum Diamond ring, A Old 1918 Class ring, or

a Killer Bracelet like yours really gets my blood pumping !! Great Save again and wishing you many more.

I have a DEUS,, it is an excellent machine. I got feedback from a fellow hunter who just attended a Deus Seminar given by Andy Sabisch. The Deus was intended for use in the United Kingdom countryside. I know other people who apply the same approach when hunting Civil War sites. The Deus doesn't have an overload and will go deep. Countryside hunting, would not be a problem for some but hunting in parks or trashy areas is definitely a problem. No one has successfully developed a program that will silence steel bottle caps. That fact and the Depth Meter are my issues with the Deus.
The dig everything is an excellent way to recover artifacts

atw...great insight..everywhere I hunt is trashy.gonna take my time and rethink.

[Dirtwisher]

There are tricks for the bottlecaps and the ridiculous speed of recovery makes the Deus great for trash, esp with the 9" coil. My 2 cents only.

Great score, not often we see someone collecting 4 ounces of gold in the same day (no punt intented to prospectors). I was happy with my 31 grams silver bracelet, you just poofed my cloud, lol. I also agree, modern banner find, 61 grams of gold in a single find will be hard to top.

[The Aluminum Monster]

Dang. That is just amazing. A ridiculous amount of gold in one find! Just incredible.

I have heard that Bigfoots like "soft and loamy soil" areas... :P

Maybe a pimp daddy bigfoot lost it...
