Where on earth did you find that big beauty?

Very impressive as always OBN, Congratulations!
More beginners luck...yeah right! More like years of knowledge and experience of a professional hunter that has had this all figured for a long time. Thumbs up brother!

Congratulations on your " Beginners Luck" trophy. It is nice to begin finding more loot like that!

You are the man, uh, I mean Pirate. Always love your post Joe, congratulations and keep them coming.

lol, it looks to me that the pendant is heavier than the chain here.
the rule of the thumb for chain+pendant is for the chain to be twice as heavy to prevent it from wearing off and breaking, many jewelers however neglect the rule ;)

Awesome find! Congrats!

Wow OBN... that's awesome. Congrats.

This is Lowtide and I hunt the area marked by red, there is a small 60 plus minute window you can get into this area, this year I have pulled several necklaces from this area due to the ruff surf...Minelab Excalibur.

I think I am going to have to get an Excalibur. Do you dig everything or do you use the discrimination?

Has a lot to do with the conditions, and the location I'm in when hunting. Since I hunt in PP and toggle to discriminate the target, nulls I let go unless the target is very deep. And I can tell when they are deep because they are whispers or disruptions in the threshold in PP. This target gave a mid to low growl almost like a bottle cap but cleaner and was less then 4 inch's deep.

Thanks everyone, Be safe Joe

If I may lapse into seriousness for a moment, really great finds.:notworthy:
