MORE BUTTON ID'S!!!!

Here are some buttons that myself and my dad have found....mine was found near and his down in ...i think theyre pretty neat but no idea what theyare/where they are from...any info would be greatly apreciated PS The dime he found at the same site as the button

There are a number of ADMIRAL VERNON commemorative buttons, and I suspect that your dad's find may be one of them. Here are a few other examples:

I'm pretty sure that your button (second one) is a sleeve link or cufflink button reading PORTO BELLO, commemorating Admiral Vernon's victory:

Bingo! It is indeed an Admiral Vernon button. Here's one of nearly identical design that recently brought £99 ($199.63 U.S.) on eBay in the U.K.
