Here are 2 frames which I excavated from our woodland, We have 2 streams running through the farm and these were dug from along the smaller stream. All came from a 15ft. x 15ft area at a depth of 1-7 inches The woodland was never cleared for farming because it's very rocky, so artifact can be found starting just below the layer of rotted leaves.

Most of these points broke for the maker before completion. The flint also comes from our farm, there is a long quarry site on the limestone ridge on the farm.

Nice frames, interesting that they all came from such a small area, and not deep. We find many broke during manufacture pieces here too, thanks for the view.

I bet many of those were made by the same person..very cool looking.

I love those colors !!!super collection

Look how wide the bases are on those triangles. Those are beautiful. Are they concentrated to that one area or do you think the whole rocky area will produce like that? That is heaven.

No kidding 'Heaven'! Yikes, that's simply amazing! Happy Spring- and Happy Hunting! Yak

I'm sure there is many more spots to dig and I hope I get time to try this year. I'll let you know how it goes.
