My favorite, simply because it's so true ...

The alqueda pinup girl.

Our Montana senator (Baccus) said obamacare is a train wreck in the happening. I guess ''stupid is a stupid is''!

Stop doing that,, we are in a government shutdown.:laughing7:

Fantastic, each cartoon funnier (and truer) than the one before. Great job...

old digger:

Actually, Sen. Baccus predicted serious problems if the American people weren't told how to sign up and provided with other, detailed explanations of a complicated new program.

The Republicans - because they want our President and our nation to fail - voted to not fund the program.

Good luck to all,

~The Old Bookaroo

Well bucky, I believe the law also allows you to pay for navigators to answer those questions, and walk them through the "complicated" program.

Like this one. Maybe Baccus should read bills he helps get passed.
Obamacare ?navigator? has warrant out for her arrest : report - NY Daily News

A Kansas woman tasked with helping consumers navigate the health insurance exchanges created under Obamacare has an outstanding warrant for her arrest, raising further questions about the federal government’s preparation for the law’s partial rollout earlier this month.
Rosilyn Wells, a full-time Affordable Care Act navigator in Lawrence, Kan., has an outstanding arrest warrant in neighboring Shawnee County for an unspecified crime, according to a list of wanted locals on the County Sheriff’s website.

Dave44:

You attempt to draw a conclusion from an astonishingly small example.

Your link has nothing to do with getting correct what Sen. Baccus said.

I was just watching the Military History Channel's excellent documentary on Presidential Chiefs of Staff. Dick Cheney had two DUI's. Does that make the Administrations he served failures? I wouldn't connect those dots.

Good luck to all,

~The Old Bookaroo

Despite your claims Bucky, this post is proven wrong,, Short on facts long on wishes. There are navigators paid for by the taxpayer to help you figure out the best way for the government to Defund your life. Baccus MAY NOT know it,, He is an idiot on that side, But he should have, and it is a WEAK excuse. For both of you.

Navigators don't have anything to do with what Sen. Baccus said. You didn't prove my post wrong.

Good luck to all,

Time for a Tea Party? Why is it that those that claim they love America despise the Tea Party? Media trashes and discredits anything that may hurt their cause? How can the Tea Party hurt America? Fiscal responsibility? Budget? Protecting legal immigration? Is it honesty and transparency the current and past administration has asked for and promised that is over-reaching and out of bounds? Articles and press releases are foul and tainted from both sides...many here would likely agree, we are in a hot-mess. What angle is best for the future of this Nation? I am biased, I may be less educated...I understand our poor may be the richest poor people in the world.

Do you think they take any comfort in that? Do you?

I do, absolutely! TVs, Food, food, food. Air Conditioning and Heat. Health care as needed. Cars. Very little education as enforced by Fed government.

And I will bet you most of them would rather live here than in Uganda, North Korea, North Vietnam, Egypt, I will let everyone else think about the places that may not come CLOSE to the standard of living our "poor" are able to get.

Go ahead, tell us about the "richest" nation on earth? That is why they live so well! the net we have built.

Sorry I forgot,, "the Phone"

Great pride fills my heart...I am one of the many that are considered "poor" by the government standard, I am unemployed, I sell my trade and get work based on reputation. I work through a broken spine and the surgery and pains. Nothing free, love and friendship do not come easy, those are attributes that are earned.

To answer your question, with great respect Bookaroo. Do the American "poor" find comfort if told they are wealthy compared to other people in the world? I would guess they don't give a damn what others have to deal with in the world.
If many of our poor had to be lowered to a world standard rating of "poor", I think they may have a different view of life.
