About ten minutes in to detecting I pulled up a coat size Artillery button with a United States back mark. I soon realized the mosquitoes were extra hungry so I had to make my way back to my truck for a double shot of repellent. About 30 minutes later while working through the iron I hear a good deep signal. About 15 inches down I pulled out this cool heel plate. Only my second one from there. About 30 minutes later I decided to head back to my truck when I got a decent signal. I dug down about ten inches and out pops this cuff sized artillery button. That lot has been detected for 40 years but is still producing. Thanks for looking and good hunting to you!!!
