.45 barrel bushing - Bing Images

yep...a .45 barrel bushing...I DIDN'T DROP IT!!!!!

hand grip looks like an old Thompson...didn't do that either...
if you find my misspent youth...I feel I lost it around there...

since you are hunting out there...there was a vc village set up...lots of guys dropped things in the "rice paddys"
most of the hoochs had objects hidden in there to train us on how to find them...

find that village...

I beleive the "Reliable",is a cable splice of sorts...there has been pictures of it in use posted here before...perhaps by Bigcy?

Any idea where to look. I did basic there but it was te summer on 74'. They never took us to a site like that

The barrel bushing is likely it. Some of the guys on our SWAT team had 45's and it sees I remember the item during post training clean up. I'll send it to them and get confirmation. The cable splicer is the second time I've heard that guess. Sorry I didn't put a size reference. It's only an inch long (plus or minus).

Won't put solved till I g confirmation.
