More Gold and Silver From the Lake

Another sunny, 80 degree day up at the lake. I decided to venture out to a beach I've never hunted before. Got in the water pretty early in the morning before all the peeps came.
Six rings is my new all time high in the lake.
1 tungsten carbide
2 stainless steel 'spinner rings'
3 silver rings
1 10k gold bead bracelet
...and the usual cheapo jewelry and lake junk.

Cleaned up the silver rings a bit...
The first one looks like a lab emerald.

The second one has a couple of the little melee stones missing.

The third is my favorite. A jade with two dragons.

The 10k gold bead bracelet weighs 3.78g.

Right about the time I figured out where the 'sweet spot' was in the water, the wind and boat waves started getting pretty gnarly so I was having a bit of trouble hunting deeper than 4-4 1/2 feet. Next time I'll hit the deep section early, while it's calm.

Does anybody recognize this rimfire round? Looks to be .38 cal, or there abouts. It has double hammer indents 180 degrees apart.

I figured out the shell, it's from an early .44 Henry rimfire rifle.

It could be from a Henry but the Winchester M-1866 was a lot more common and took the same ammo. Production of the Henry ended in 1866 with 14,000 units produced. The Model 1866 was produced well into the late 1800s and there were 720,000 units produced.
