Got out friday again to look for an old saw mill area. Turns out it might be on the neighbors land so we never found it. So 3cylbill and I were working on part of the field where it looks like there was a structure. He marks a target that sounded like strong junk with the concentric coil on his tesero, and told me to check it out when I got over that way. I swing over it with the dd and it lights up beautifully. i told him he should have dug this it sounds great, he says "na I passed on it, go for it you dig it." Well I did and out popped a largie. The signal sounded funny on his coil because of a chunk of iron next to it, just couldn't separate it like the dd did. Managed to grab another largie and a pocket watch before we had to run so I could pick up my daughter from practice. Oh yeah and this sweet part of a a 2 piece button, looks like ww1 or possibly early ww11

Congrats on the coppers and other finds

Very well done sir. The LCs have a lot of detail.

Best of luck to you.

Congratulations on the nice finds! :occasion14:

Two LC's in one hunt is awesome. Congrats!!

Sounds like a promising area. I bet there's more there. Keep at it until the snow flies.

Snow has been flying for a couple days, but I still plan on battling it.

The LC's are one of my favorites. Congrats.

Congrats on a nice hunt! Pound that site to death I'll bet there's more.

Nice going on the double copper and the button.
So what did he say when you posed the LC out the dirt?

First thing he asked was if there was iron with it. I tried to give it to him but he wouldn't take it. He took it quite well.

Nice finds! Is there a back mark on the button. We might be able to tell if its WW1 or WW2 era if we know what the back says.
