More of beanman's rocks

Last time I posted a picture, I didn't get beat up to bad, so I'm getting brave again. Just some more weird stuff from the site, where the other junk came from. :-\

NOOOO!!! Bean Man, you were doing so good, I thought you had finally turned the corner!! ;D Sorry, that was just for old times sake :) I don't think you have anything in this "frame". It is interesting variety of materials...some of it looks like limestone and others look like high iron sandstone...not something you find together a lot. Keep looking and keep posting-

You're getting there Bean Man. Definitely keep looking and keep posting. You'll find a really good one soon!

Good luck!

Re: More of beanman's rocks

The bottom two pieces look like volcanic material to me. They look like chunks of rimrock. Where did you find those two pieces, if you don't mind saying?

Re: More of beanman's rocks

Hi TT, I don't know materials worth a darn, but I don't think they are volcanic. They came from central Iowa, from the site all the other junk I,ve posted came from.

Re: More of beanman's rocks

I wouldve kept the peanut looking one.

Re: More of beanman's rocks

Before last year I would not have. The peanut is 8 inches long and I believe, natural. Because it was with the other strange rocks, we brought it home. What I believe so far, is that the site is a large village guarry. Whether they used the peanut, no way to tell. Of course I thought club, but a friend said maybe a moccasin form. Anyway, thanks pa, hope you tear them up this year!

Re: More of beanman's rocks

I don't mean to offend anyone with my posts. I will say it again, Beanman's rocks are more then likely geofacts! I'm not trying to demean artifact collecting or anything. That being said, here's some more odd granite from the possible guarry site.
