She stepped out of the car into that same park we have been hunting but moved over to west side of park and she got a quarter signal and couldn't find it in the hole (still learning!) and asked for my help. I popped out a nice 1956D Washington so it was a team effort :laughing7:

:o Also played with the reeper about 2.5" all tangled in the grass so he was a fighter! :tongue3:

The area delivers another foreign coin this time Hong Kong...You never know what you'll pop out of the ground. :wink:

I really thought it was a large mangeled old style pull tab. That is what it rang in as.

Silver for my machine comes in in the upper VGIs, say 80-90. A silver that size would be at least a quarter range (85-88). I think it is nickle; only marks are JPI copyright 2000 :(

Congrats for the wife on the silver quarter! If I dug that reaper up and it was all tangled in the grass, not wanting to come out, lol . . I might just put him right back in the ground. The irony . . . putting the reaper into the ground. :o Nice finds though.

Nice finds. The grim reaper is a neat find for october too, gettin close to good ole halloween
