I went back to the farm fields today and found a 1914d Barber Quarter on the surface. Also found a eagle calvary button I am not sure if it's civil war. And a Penn R.R. and NYC&H.R.R.R tag, pocket watche 7 buckles,thimble, button bale seal etc.

When I looked up the button it was spelled both ways calvary and cavalry I was not sure what one was correct.

Interesting (and historic) luggage tag.
The New York Central & Hudson River Railroad (NYC&HR RR) was a major 19th and early 20th-century rail line, famous for dominating northern New York and entering Manhattan through the iconic Grand Central Terminal.
In contrast, the Pennsylvania Railroad (Penn R.R. or PRR) served as its fierce rival. While the NYC&HR RR had the northern routes locked down, the PRR dominated traffic to the west and south, famously tunneling under the Hudson River to build the original New York Penn Station to bring its trains directly into midtown Manhattan.

Beautiful button. Specifically it’s a Union/Federals cavalry button. Depending on the size, big button would make it a coat button or opposite for a cuff button.
