Apparently June is the month of shades. Today I was able to pull some coins and 2 more pair of junk glasses. I moved down to a larger resort area and thought my arm was going to fall off before I finally got a sweet tone. Up pops a nice 5 gram 18K gold band. With the bonanza of sunglasses lately my wife suggested that I give them to my oldest who is an Ebay queen. My plan is to give her all the tungsten rings and the brand name designer rings once I get them polished up to sell. But I got to thinking about the sunglasses and last week I found a pair of glasses that I dismissed as being junk. Took a second look at them today and they are Oakley aviators. Retail for $150.00. The lenses and frames are in great shape with a little surface scratches. Gonna go through the beach treasure bag from last year tonight to see if I have any other hidden treasures.

Thanks for looking and good luck out there!

Nice finds tnt. Be careful with those sunglass finds. I found these Persols in March and they got me $200 on eBay. HH

Your making some great finds...congrats on the 18k.

One of the main items I look for are sunglasses! In the last two yrs have gained an extra $500 in my pocket! Castro del mars, Oakley, Rayban, Maui Jim, Coaches etc

who pays hundreds for sunglasses?

Congrats on the finds!! Gold is almost impossible to find here lately.

Same ones who pay $900 for a David Yurman Silver ring.

"Walmart" sunglasses are considered high dollar on my beaches. If the name, China, is in gold print then you have a real prize. :laughing7:

I can't explain this either, but the demand for them is pretty high and the resale value on them is pretty darn good.

Tnt- K9, I need sunglasses just to look at that 18K...it's a beauty!:headbang:
