MORE TOKENS...and a big haul of stuff I never expected!!!

What a day!!! My first target was a 1903 V nickle, so I thought wow! This might be a good day for metal detecting! Second target, some kind of brass plate that says "Charles Cottrell 1858", guess I have some research to do! Lost track of what I found next, but I got two tokens, One out of some kind of white metal, says "Walker's Butte, 12 W Park 137 E Park, 2 1/2 cents in trade" and another made of brass that says "Good For 5 cents Hotel Warwick at the bar" and the back appears blank. The pin with face says sterling top on the back. Found a clay pipe stem, a silver plated thimble, and a cool cameo button. Thought I found a gold ring, but it turns out that it was plated. Looks cool tho! The inside says "L&S", and it has two naked ladies on it lol! The stirrup is a first for me and I found some other stuff that I think is horse tack close to it. The feild glasses were a surprize, never expected to find those haha! All in all it was a really cool day! Thanks for looking!!

Wow- You found all that in one place? My mind wanders as to the events that occurred for that to happen.

A quick google on Charles Cottrell 1858- Montana, came up with more than a few hits so research should be fun.

Butte, where I detect has ALOT of history. I am very fortunate to have such a good place to detect. I really feel that oportunities to find stuff here is ENDLESS. Altho, there are alot of weird grumpy people here, and permission can be difficult to get some places here, it can REALLY be worth it to try! I probably need to hit the archives uptown to find anything on Charles Cottrell... we will see what I can find!
