I've been working my tail off over the past week, and haven't searched anything since my two halves boxes last week.

The Labor Day weekend just about killed me. I didn't have time, as I had planned all week, to buy dimes on Saturday. My plan was to try to buy and search $600-$800 in dimes, splitting them up for each day of the weekend, and dump Tuesday.

I had a new work opportunity come up Tuesday and Wednesday, and I struck while the iron was hot, but that left me without dimes to search.

Feeling bummed because I didn't have boxes...I got a silver '51 Roosie in change at a Meijer grocery store late Tuesday afternoon!!!!

Today, racing against the clock, I stopped in a local supply bank, bought $200 worth of dimes, and scored another '55 Roosie.

I am like an addict...lost, dazed and disoriented one minute, and full of life the next minute, with a heaping bag of String dime rolls!

The holiday threw me off too. I was without anything to search and nothing on order. I wandered aimlessly from bank to bank begging for halves and just getting handfuls of loose clad or, nothing at all. Finally, I happened upon 6 lonely MWRs - one had a '68 ender! I spied it as teller was plopping them down. Take off of $60 was 2x WL and that '68. It was enough to give me that "high." I still don't know where my next fix is coming from though. I've laid off the ordered boxes due to too much skunk. I've already tapped all of the close banks and credit unions. I might experiment with some different supply banks, but that means opening accounts - so be it.

Oh buddy, I for sure understand this madness all too well... In fact, to give you an idea of how much I understand it, I actually have been so busy that I did not order my usual several boxes last week... the ones that would have been here this week. Not to worry, I have good old reliable, my Wells Fargo bank that no matter what the situation has 4 boxes waiting for me on wednesdays. I have been shaking and vomiting since early monday waiting for it to get here. So today, I went to pick them up, and wouldnt you know it? Because of the holiday on Monday, my halves were not ordered in time, so they wont be there until tomorrow. After puking on the teller, I hurried and put myself together, and made it to my truck before having a Psychotic fit of the DT's... What the h*ll am I gonna do now?

I notice my violence and anger levels increase about 368%, if my silver hunting plans are interfered with in any shape or form.

Just dont mess with my silver, my rolls of coins, or my Guinness, and tonight, we won't have any problems.

I am the nicest person when Im fully stocked of unhunted coins, and mean SOB when Im dry. Great Post

Thats what Im hoping, but as for now, I am waiting... Tuesday I ordered the Etrac, it should be here in a few days. I really can't wait, I have never been this excited for anything in my life (as far as toys go anyways). I cant wait, I already have a list of spots that I think could produce.

How many of those of you that CRH also dirtfish? I think they must go hand-in-hand because since I have really started CRH'ing, I havent been able to get my mind off metal detecting. I have never done it before but I know that I already love it.

I had the opposite problem. Picked up 2 boxes of halves Friday, and a box of nickels, dimes, and pennies Saturday. Got skunked on the halves and dimes, and $80 of the nickels were 2011's. Going to have to make a big fat Labor Day Leftovers dump tomorrow...

If anyone understood the affect that $200 worth of String dimes were on me, I knew that I'd find that understanding right here on this forum!

I am glad I started this thread. Your posts have been enjoyable.

(BTW, can you all tell I am in a decent mood? That is because I had two boxes of halves today!)
