Im going to Fort Lauderdale for a weekend...never been there...need a reasonable motel...doesn't have to be on the beach but close would be nice...thanks.

not the Ritz - but still was about $250 a night - ive heard them being in so pretty nice hotels
does not have to be cheap roach motels to have them - a lot of times travelers bring them from other spots to these
better hotels in their suitcases

Do what I did when I was in Aruba. I rented a full size van. Brought a blow up air mattress and slept in the van. the ocean was my shower until the day before my return flight. I then rented a room for 85.00 and cleaned up. 40.00 a day car rental and FREE housing. Or free car rental and 40.00 a night . Which ever way you look at it...
