When I was a little boy (in Florida), I had an extensive butterfly & moth collection. The Cecropia moth was one of my favorites.

I kinda feel bad for killing them now.

I was told that this is a male cecropia moth. Their life is short, they do not eat. Their only purpose is to seek out a female and mate.
