I would keep a 2" suction hose if at all possible, but you should have no worries going from 2" to 1.5" on the output.

Yes thats my original plan. Though thank God, I found the hose! I'll go pick it up friday at a local hardware store.

Take 2! First one was a bust! LOL! Forgot to reduce it more on the tip! Water came out from the suction...[emoji23] Oh well, we learn from our mistakes! I did this other type using parts I alreaddy had lying around. I think this one could do the trick!

Yeah I saw it. It's impressive how it works with just a simple bilge pump! Then again he's using a short hose connected to his BGT. I'll be using a 9000 gph pump with 45 psi pressure. For dredging it's not the best pump since its been said to use 60+ psi. I'm sure it'll work since I'm using 1.5" nozzle and hose. Here's another video I want to share.
