Why thank you rmptr. Not a bad bike, I call it my Hybrid. Its got a few Harley parts, some aftermarket parts (ie satalite radio- 40 chan CB rider passenger two way comms-mustang seat) and the Trike part is Lehman and the business end is Suzuki Volusia. I didnt go into great detail but I looked back at previous post and your bike savy--- thank you for the complement.....

My 2nd new toy. Bought myself a Christmas present, purchased this 2010 FLHTK 1690cc (Electra Glide Ultra Limited) on December 29, 2010. It was a 2010 leftover, and I got a deal I couldn't resist. This is my last motorcycle, its gonna have to last me the rest of my life, gonna retire in a year and a half.

Just came back from Delmarva Bike Week in Ocean City, MD. Had a great time as always. Bought a new exhaust system while I was down there. Nice, loud rumble, sounds good.

I love my Harley....................................Rich

Rich - thats a great looking bike, and that red will be hard to miss!

It's hard to believe I started this post back in March 2007... it's fun to re-read.

But, I just sold my own bike this a month ago so no more pictures for me.

Keep the shinny side up!

Of course my favorite was the Vincent Rapide and will probably remain dear as I will never be able to afford one.
Then one day at Laguna Seca in 1989 or '90 I saw the Britten. I couldn't believe it, being so far advanced for its time and made by a
'privateer' named John Britten of New Zealand. I came back to camp and declared to the guys: "You won't believe it! There's a bike in the pits that doesn't have a FRAME !" :sign13:

John Britten was a genius. :notworthy:
Another to have died before his years.

I too have seen a Britten 'in the flesh' and it is truly a work of art.

And Montana Jim, must be something to do with the non-smoking; I sold my Triumph a month ago.... :'(

Stay upright all, Cheers, Mike

Rich, That's a nice ride mate.

I used to take the you-rine out of my good mate Rob, who rode his Centennial Electra Glide, whilst I rode my Trophy 900. In 2008, we toured our South Island with our wives (only one each :o ) , as the BMMC, as Rob is one of Burt Munro's Grandsons.

Now, I have sold my bike to help pay a few bills; and Rob is selling his, because he's been given not long to live; so fellow bikers, please say a prayer for Rob Henderson, of Nelson, New Zealand.

Best wishes to you all, Mike

Hey Montana Jim,

Back in 2008 David rode his 03 Road king from Myrtle Beach S.C. to Butte mt. Spent 11 days on his own just riding and looking. Went up Pikes Peak, did Yellowstone etc. I flew out to Butte (my family is there) and met him. Long story short, we left Butte on Wed. at noon and arrived back in Myrtle Beach on Sun. at 6:00am. I deserved an Iron A@s award. My picture is of us is leaving Sturgis at a rediculous rate of speed.
All the pictures are trapped in the old computer,,,,

Nice bike there, check out the 2012 Duc. 1199 as they doesn't have a frame as well.

I just came across this documentary on John Britten the other day. Fascinating and worth watching. I follows him through the year he built the bike he took to Daytona and set the motorcycle race world on its ear. Nearly every part was hand made. A true genius:

My "04" Flstf FatBoy Harley. Got the old screaming eagle exhaust a few mods. Rode today. The pimp lights are fun put the plain white looks best and you can be seen from the side. Here they are turned on in red. :tongue3:

Ahh.... after going to Cali this summer, and meeting the owner of Century Motorcycles in San Pedro.... I'm not getting anything less than a Vincent! :))
In Honor of his MOM! :) .... and then I got to see tons of really cool bikes at the "Rock Store" where we saw Jay Leno.
I had a really fun time WAY FAR from home :)
