Hi all;
New member here. I was wondering what kind of adhesive is used (if any) for mounting points, etc. to display boards? would not want to damage the integrity of a piece by using a product or method that would ruin its value.
I have enjoyed all of the posts and look forward to getting settled back in the states and posting pics of my informal finds from over the years...i find the forums here to be invaluable in providing both information - and quite often entertainment!
I really do believe that this site promotes respectful knowledge of the past and i totally get it when people share their excitement and awe of their finds.
Thank you!

I have had good luck using Elmer's white glue to mount arrowheads on a felt covered frame. the glue dries well and also comes off of the arrowhead easily.

Hi sage, and welcome! That's a good question although I.m sure Jeff or PBK will move it to a different area of the forum. I suppose it really depends on what and how your going to mount the object. You want some adhesive that is easily removable, 3M makes some good products. I have also see wax melted and used. when it cools it's an easly removable adhesive.
