Darth Vader got to me. It's revealed that he's a decent guy under all that, and bam, dead. Of course, I was just a young fella when I saw it. It might have been the first movie I ever saw where someone died.

Vanishing point

Jaws (at the beginning of the movie). kept me out of the ocean for a while.

and of course from when I was a youngster Bambi and Old Yeller

Butch and Sundance

Oh I almost forgot, the bathtub death scene from the original I Spit On Your Grave. Got light headed just typing this post.

Steve Mcqueen in "the Sand Pebbles".

And what makes it so good/bad despite the horrible acting for the most part? UNKNOWN ACTORS! Brad Pit or Tom Cruise gets killed you know he will be back next week same time same channel. Can't say how much it ups the realism factor for ME to seek out movies with no-name actors. Don't get me started on movie soundtracks and scare tactic ambush sounds. I hope one day this era of film making will be looked back on as the era of gimmicks and crutches. Give it to me straight without the orchestra pulling at my heart strings. If the story and the acting can't pull the audience in, back to the formula... How about the death scene at the ending of I Saw the Devil? Always better when they deserve it!

even though it's just a Movie I always feel bad for them at the end :(

This one tugs at my heart strings too.

Didn't pay them to stop to help.
