I Liked Duets & Last Days of Disco enough to watch them more then once.

My mother who was a music major and teacher had a thing for musicals. She talked me into going to see this when it came out in 1969. I reluctantly went and actually enjoyed it very much.

Paint Your Wagon, Classic
Yeah, that one has an excellent soundtrack. Some pretty funny moments, the beginning is hillarious. The Burial where Lee Marvin spots the gold. Pretty tough to go wrong with Lee Marvin & Clint Eastwood, even in a musical. You really dont hear much about PYW, definetely a classic.

Yeah, not bad films, both Solid Flicks. If you liked Last Days Of Disco, you should check out Metropolitan (1990) some of the same actors. Pretty Solid Dialog. Looks like its streaming on HBO/MAX.

I rarely Like what others Reccommend ! Professsional Movie reviewers
are Holier then thou when it comes to Movies

and the Academy Awards are Political ! The Movies are Submitted by the Producers Not the People & are Cry Fests ! I HATE Cry Fests and movies that are supposed to make you Think

You would never seee movie like Zombie Ass, American Pie, Porkey's or Lake Placid even Cross their Lips let alone "Sweep the Academy Awards !

I Have Different taste then others. 1932 movie Freaks was Genius imo
so was Kingpin , Zombie Land & Return of the living dead

Yeah, the Oscars are political, they can be lame also, I always thought Comedies Scifi and Horror got screwed. Really Best Comedy film and Best Horror/Scifi film should be added as a categories.

It looks like you like Zombie flicks?
Here is one I always thought was underatted, Great Practical Effects, some pretty funny lines, The Chinese Butcher Shop scene is Classic

Anybody got anything good on HBO/Max worth watching. That Welcome to Derry is kind of a bust. Just not enough story. Probably a mistake making It a series, I doubt it will get a second season.

Here is one you rarely hear about, probably a pretty tough film to find streaming, unless you want to rent it. It will probably show up somewhere eventually.
Robinson Crusoe (1997) Didn't get much press, but a pretty good adaptation, entertaining
This one starring Pierce Brosnan under Miramax Films, looks like a decent Budget, Pretty good Production Values. Film Never Got a US theatrical release? Gross Worlwide &183,886.00, Miramax must of taken a Blood Bath on it. Filmed in Papua New Guinea. Only got a Theatrical Release in Singapore? Thats Rough, Shelved for 2 years? Interesting History.

Due to my Time on YouTube my Short Attention Span has Taken over.
It is Extremely Rare That I can sit through an Entire movie in one sitting.
Some I Still Haven't Finished after a Month.

I’ve heard this name a thousand times but don’t know anything about him, or if he’s just a character.

I Haven't seen it since around '68. it was on YouTube about 10 Years Ago But I Couldn't get into it that Day, Too Much Going On here .

Normally if I Want to Watch a Movie That Costs $$ I Google it & Hit Videos on top Then Scan Down, Seems almost everthing Can be Found for free . Only Place I can Find it Wont open on my Computer

Dunno some of those flicks can be pretty hard to find. Never saw it, looks wairchable Mary Tyler More, George Peppard, solid actors. I will have to check it out.
I have actually been watching alot of Youtube videos about "Busts" through different years "1975" "1976" and so on. Pretty interesting, I forgot, or hadn't seen a lot of those films.
A different time for Cinema back then, before video releases. Alot of films that were made were in theatres then just disapeared, never getting a Video release, DVD release, cable viewings or anything.
Just shows you how much the VCR & cable changed the film industry in the 1980's.

there was what I Think was a Failed 1 hour TV show , I Keep looking for, that aired back in (BC) before Cable ,early 70's. saw it 2 or 3 Times.

From what I remember the Entire Hour was a man with a Golden Puzzle Piece about the Size of his Hand, Maybe slightly larger.
I Think He didn't know what it was actually made of.

he was Searching a Mountain side for another piece of the Puzzle.
one scene for maybe 2 Seconds a Flying Saucer is seen, Not by the Man. Maybe if the series was Baught The Flying Saucer, would have eventually be seen by him I Assume the Flying Saucer was searchin too . I Think there was others he Met, Not Sure ,, one being of indian Heritage..

YES maybe It was Only NOT Boring to me, Because of the Golden Puzzle Piece & The Flying Saucer & The Searching, But I can Understand how

Spunds like a fever dream A lot of people have at least 1-2 of those lost memories of stuff they saw and still can't put a finger on. Just flashes of a scene. Actually watching some youtube shows has brought back memories of things I had completely forgot about from the 70's. Here is one I completely forgot about.

they were calling it a bust but I have distinct memory of this film.

Some more info on Robinson Crusoe 1997, It was always kind of a mystery to me for some reason. I could never figure out why it never got a theatrical release in the US. Apparently the day before shooting Pierce Brosnan was flown out to New York? for the big announcement he was going to be the next James Bond. So Robinson Crusoe is set to start shooting the next day, apparently the film was going to be a made for TV foreign Job? But apparently Miramax wanted to get involved and throw a decent budget behind it? They dont want the Next James Bond comming off on garbage flick, probably the thinking. Anywho the film gets made with pretty good production values and credited with 2 different directors?? Then It gets shelved for 2 years. before only getting a Video Release in the States. What a bizarre trip that film took. Anyways I always thought it was an entertaining flick, not really Book accurate, but what is?
