Mt.Massive......great name aint it?

took these last week in Leadville. Mt.Massive lives up to its name because it is massive :laughing9:

and yes, it is a 14er and yes, ive tried to climb it but it was a epic fail :tongue3:

. In the first picture, Massive is the mountian above the last 3 powerline poles to the right, it has 3 summits

Yeah, I been there, but I ain't gonna climb those. Good to see you got back up here. Notice we had a lot more snow this season? Runoff is a little late this year, but so far no flooding. Could be an excellent year to pan some streams, which I intend to do. I am a first rate black sand panner so far.

Yeah! when we passed by "A" Basin ski area, there were people still skiing! It was too bad though because we didnt climb any 14ers beacuse of all the snow $:-\$ but thats OK because Colorado is awesome no matter what! :laughing9:

I think A-basin and Vail are gonna keep runnin to the 4th of July, since they got the snow base. Keystone shut down and Breck's got the snow but they're onto other things. Like your pics, cause they show the sky really is that blue up here.
