I have loved classic musclecars ever since I was in Kindergarden. My neighbor down the street had a hopped up white 69 Chevelle SS that he would race locals with all the time. That one car got me hooked and I've never looked back. My best friend and I now deal in classic cars. My current ride is this beauty, a 73 Cuda 440 with 500 hp. He's riding in a 69 GTO Judge clone that is very sweet. Modern cars get good gas mileage, but I just can't see me driving many new cars. I'm even buying a 66 Charger for my daily driver. Enjoy the pics.
Oh yeah, I recently tried to track down that 69 Chevelle because I thought it would be awesome to own the same car that got me into as a kid. Sadly it was totalled in the late 80's. May we have a moment of silence please...........................................thanks.

Cool Charger. I almost bought a few of those. I know where several decent ones are right now. Long live musclecars!!

Now I'm jealous... ;D
Very cool cars guys... Brings back a lot of memories. I grew up riding around in cars like that. I was even lucky enough to have owned a 69 Firebird, and a 69 Charger back in my younger days. Sure wish I would have kept them both. I miss 'em...

here is mine, 1964 comet a nd a sleeper too

My first car

My first car was a '67 Chevy II SS327. The numbers said it originally had an L-79 327 and M-22, but I drove it for quite awhile with a 194 straight-six and powerglide until I had the managed to buy all of the bits and pieces to put together a 327 for it. It wasn't a TRUE L-79 but it did have .202 heads and dual 600 double pumpers on it (original L-79 had twin Quadra-Junks...hate 'em). Never got the 4-speed for it but I did swap out the Powerglide for a TH350. I never completely finished the car. I think the dome light was the farthest thing back that had power to it. It was still in primer and the interior was a mess. I sold it shortly before I joined the service in 1983. And I kick myself in the butt for it whenever I see what a finished '66-'67 Chevy II Super Sport's going for these days. One day I'm gonna get my pole barn up and find a rough Chevy II and do it up right. (If I don't get my hands on a '62 Impala SS Ragtop first!). There's a lot of '66-'67 Chevy II stuff like subframes and disc brake kits that are on the market these days that weren't around back in the early '80s when I had that car.

Re: My first car

my first car was 1965 comet cyclone while in the Army 1978-1987
my wife let me get my old car back - the1965 comet cyclone I had before we married and then baby on the way, I had to sell it in 1992, then saw an ad in the newspaper? me and my son went to see it and guess what, it was mine and still had the paper work from me in the trunk, that was 2002. So we got it home now

You guys are killing me.I sold my last one in 2001 due to a great deal on a peice of property I wanted to buy and I had to come up with 10 % down.I sold a 1967 baracuda daily driver.Needed body work and what not but it was all there.I had a parts car also that was restorable also and also so sold that. Now two kids later and bills and what not I can't find anything in my price range due to the values. I have had a 70 charger ,two 73 challengers the barracuda and a 67 coronet and I have the fever but they are all outrageous in price or they are complete right offs that people still ask to much for. Still looking though. I have tried to trade my jeep for a couple of muscle cars but no takers. You can get a jeep anywhere but not a baracuda. :'(

Got friends in Boise that run muscle on the firbird strip and also some in Anchorage AK. Would love get one myself, but settled for my Duramax (diesel the new muscle car) pushing over 500HP to the rear. It's bible eating, rice burner killer here in Vegas (s$#t hole city anyway).

I love American muscle.

One of my "other hobbies" is rescuing old muscle cars and restoring them. One of my favorites was a 1970 Mustang Mach I. I paid $1,000 for it, repainted it, put it in a car show and a year later sold it for enough to pay off every bill I owed, paid cash for a new Ford Explorer, and put away some to buy another project car. I didn't really want to sell it knowing I'd probably never get another one, but I couldn't pass up the money.

Right now I'm trying to restore a 1977 Pontiac Trans Am(Bandit). Paid $250 for it last year.

I Love the Bandit T/A

Lets us know how you make out with the restore
I have a 92 TA ands its amazing (my other car is a new caddy)

aye love em myself trying to find my pics guess ill have to just go take a few pics later and post. me and my dad restored a 1970 Gsx yellow and black .all matching

Man,this page brings some memories back to me.I've had so many cars...4 Camaros,an ultra rare Chevy Monza Mirage with factory V-8,an old chevy Impala, and finally,my dear wife's Pontiac Grand Prix GTP...supercharged.
Back in the day(Mid 70's) i always wanted a car with a blower,now i have one...LOL.

Love all the original muscle cars. Lovely cuda. My first car was a 1969 Doge Super Bee with a 4 speed. My second car was a 1971 340 Cuda with auto. Wish I still had both of them :-\
