Musket Ball??

Need some help to ID this. I believe it is a musket ball? It measure around 1 inch in diameter. Feels heavy for it's size. Found it today while detecting a new site. If it is a musket ball, does anyone have any guess at to its age. Thanks!!

Definitely doesn't look like lead, at least not any found in my area. Check and see how it reacts with a good magnet near it.

If steel, probably a ball bearing for farm machinery?
