I found this musket ball. I believe it is from the battle of pequawket. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battle_of_Pequawket

Any idea on the caliber

It was found on a beach.

Measurements are best on your side. Scaling from photo, 50 cal?

Too small for a musket ball.

In 'Murican that works out to 3/8" or about a .375 caliber. Most likely a percussion pistol (1850 to 1870ish to modern times)

I have it as 0.52-0.54" with a simple drafting technique (scaling). To be more precise of caliber on a deformed round ball, one should simply take a volumetric displacement into a spherical volume calculation to determine diameter.
