Hey T-netters ! I just posted this in the White's general discussion forum , thought i'd post same
here too so as to get as much input as i can. I've been experimenting with coin hunting in relic mode
with the trigger forward which alows only non ferrous targets to be heard . The old area i've been
hunting is a neglected park where i have found several silver rosies and some wheaties. Oldest coins
so far are 1940's . This relic mode - alternate search is nice because you hear a clearly discernable
high chirpy tone when you hit a penny/dime or better. I've also been using the 6x10 DD coil since
the area is trashy (deep beer cans and aluminum liquor bottle caps) and i've been running at max
discrimination with very high gain (at least+ 2) Any suggestions you may have with regard to
mode, gain , coil, or discrimination - would be greatly appreciated . Thanks , Gregory, Santa Fe.
