That's a fine looking truck! That machine needs to be going somewhere with a load, always. Congrats to your Son! Good luck to you and yours.

It’s got all sorts of bells and whistles.... fringe, satellite tv, microwave, all safety gear,.... it’s his home for next 3 years, has option to buy afterwards. In the past 4 months, he’s hit 46 states.
There is a massive demand for truckers, and he is getting paid. Like bank paid.

Oh yea, he’s already broke it in, has a lass in Dallas.:laughing7:

Wish I was going somewhere with a load...it's cold here...lol

Beautiful machine...Best of Luck! :occasion14:

Good for him!

I do not think he lost his mind.... That is what i did for 30 years very good money in trucking.

There better be, considering his lease payments

My step bro did the same thing. After a little over 1 year he decided it wasn't for him and can't wait to be done and move on. BUT he doesn't like driving. :icon_scratch: :dontknow: I have no idea why he went that route then. haha

That's an awesome looking truck!! And I hear that there is killer money to be made out there!!! I think it would be a blast to see the country!!

He signed the dotted line.... and I raised him to see it through, so he is all in.

YA my step bro was going to"start his band" until about 50 then decided he was going to be a truck driver. :laughing7: Whole different case there.:laughing7: It doesn't fit him at all!!! Everyone but him saw it coming.:laughing7:

Now there's a railroad a-runnin' by a highway out in santa fe.
an' i passed an old freight train makin' his run the other day.
Merle Haggard said to his fireman, so pale:
we're gonna blow the freight train off of the rails.
he got the fever.
he got the freightliner fever.

Hopefully he is putting away a good percentage of each settlement. Repairs are rather costly all by themselves; made even more so if he is unable to roll (money going out, no money coming in). Prime is a major player though, so he should have plenty of loads

The East Coast is crying for truck drivers.

Looks like a good business right now. Best of luck!

Gorgeous tractor, for sure, but ya gotta make the payments.
Wheels gotta turn or ya don't make a dime, but for those willing
to make the sacrifice it can be a good living.

Life on the road is a whole 'nother world. Hopefully he's got
a good dispatcher who will give him the miles he needs.

All I can add to the discussion is - Get a good bookeeper, stash money for taxes, and don't just stuff your recipts in a box - enevlope for each trip, and if you write the idem/cost on the outside, saves shuffling the paper inside.

My ex drove -
