My best 1 hour dig in like FOREVER! PICS ADDED!

I dont post much any more, I find stuff, still hunt a lot,but a old seated isent as exciting as it once was... then there is TODAY!

1858 1/2, 1870 shield,1877 dime, unknown dime,1867 shield, 1883 shield, 1863 dime, 1869 shield, 1874 shield, 1874 shield, 1868 shield,1866 shield, 1868 shield, no date shield. sweeeeeet sidewalk dig.

Very Coolly! What's the story behind finding allthose in 1 hour?

It was a sidewalk dig, they cut back into a old stores foundation. like some of the store digs Ive done. (go to you tube and search Calvert metal detecting) I went back today and they dug it all out deep, didn't find a thing. Unless I can follow the dirt out. Its all gone.

Thats a very inspirational hunt there brother! I have found a total of two shield nickels so far. They are quite low on the conductivity scale so it is very easy to completely pass them by. Finding so many shield nickels is very rare I would think and the big silver is like "Icing on a red-velvet cake", big old silver is quite rare to find now-days it seems to me! Out here it is hard to even find 1960s silver coins.
