Congrats on the cool finds !

The old Chinese coins had next to no value at all.
During the 1930's - 1950's era they were often used as decorations on items like Sewing Baskets, etc.
In the Western US it's possible you could find one of these coins that was lost by Chinese Rail Road worker ?
You can date your coin by going to this web site

Got our to the sandy park tonight as it cooled off but no rain yet. I got my BEST find 😄 and Bob found a cool Chinese coin. If any experts know a date or anything we'd love to know. Found near the RR tracks. Found one here last year too. Thanks for looking!
Isn’t amazing how many coins are list. Hope you find an era for that Chinese coin and congratulations

Cool finds for sure. Good luck on the ID. My sister turned me on to the app Coinoscope and that's how we identified the first Chinese cash coin I found. HH
