my best looking dandy to date

i went out to the only field that was not planted today
corn stalks from last year were still standing 24 inches tall
the only finds were a musket ball and this pewter dandy button
its my first dandy that has a design
can anyone can give me an age on the button

That is tombac, not pewter; and I would say 18th c. Nice button. My only dandy with a design I only recovered 1/3 of/

Nope not a clue, sorry. Now that I look at it again it kinda looks like silver but I cant tell from the pic. What did it register as?

i usually go by sound thought i was gonna dig a button and i did lol
