My best nickel box ever!

Full box:

1906 V-nickel

8 buffaloes = full dates are (2) 1937-P (four legs), 1919, 1920, other four are "blanked" from use.

and about 50 pre-1960 including some low mintages (1955, 51-s, etc.)

NO war nickels but I'm satisfied, the V nickel is well-worn but all wording and date is full (lady's face is gone, just silhouetted)

that's a great nickel box - even w/out any silver

I got 2 dime boxes, 2 nickel boxes and 1 cent box to search this weekend myself. I finished up the 1st dime box this morning and found a '64 rosie in one of the last few rolls. And I'm less than half way through the 1st nickel box and I've found quite a few pre - '60 Jefferson's and 1 full date '37 buff but no silver war nickels yet.

You might try some vinegar on those no - dates. I've still got quite a few buffaloes I am planning on soaking. The most recent one I soaked I was surprised to see is a 1914.
