My best take ever! Paid for my detector!!

Just got back from a hunt that I will remember for a long time. I found 5 gold rings . 3 of them are 24K and two are 14K . The large one with a pig on it is 24k and has awesome weight to it . I am told that the pig represents good luck and fortune. The two plain bands are 24K and the other two are 14K . I don't know if any of the stones are real . The large 24K ring should be about 700-800 bucks with todays gold prices .
It was an awesome day and I always use the clad to pay the cab drivers. I count it out before I go some where and then just hand it over to them and jump out before they say anything. Not sure how much these rings are worth but I am sure I paid for my detector today!!

And what's good also is the pig will be easy to slaughter for the $$$. It's a great feeling having a day that pays for your detector!

Iron Patch ,it feels amazing to have a day like this. I wish I could head back to the beach but ,got to work in the morning..

umrgolf ,according to my hunting buddies over here I had a lucky day with three 24K in one day. I guess thebig Pig Ring gave me luck.

Yep the memory will stick with you for good and probably be even better than the rings or $$$ they bring. That will be my goal for the Fall, a find that pays for my detector. Or even a site with enough finds to cover it, that would be cool too. WE'll see!

Super day, Birdman. I have been water hunting for 30+ years and have only found 5 or 6 24k pieces. 24k is about $40.00 a gram, so figure it from there. 30+ grams at $40 bucks =====($1200.00) plus the others. NOT A BAD DAY.

From looking at the pictures, not only have you paid for your detector, but you should have enough left over to buy ME a good detector.

Is that a pile of won? when I was there in 1970-71 conversion was approx 350 won to 1 dollar. if so, that is way worse than diggin zincolns!!

It's about 40,000 won,about 35 bucks. A trip to the beach cost me about 60dollars in cab fare and 8 bucks on the train so I load the cabs up with crusty green coins to help pay for my trip. Mainly give it to the cabs off base because they will try to take you the long route some time.I also dug three watches also but only one is still working. It needs a band then I will wear it.

Great finds there Birdman - I'm envious of that pile of 'Beach' goodies. I've not tried hunting on the beach yet with the 'Minelab' - hoping to before the years out but doubt I'll find a pile that big! Well done!
